NATURAL tools include pranayama style breathing techniques to catalyze and
energize available energies, and the power of the Human Mind and Heart.
TECHNOlogical tools include sophisticated analog and
digital music synthesizers, and digital video effects machines for the visual aspect.
SYNAESTHESIA: "harmony of different or opposing impulses produced by a work of art". More
commonly refering to the phenomenon of experiencing one sense via another, like seeing
a sound, or looking at a colorful image and tasting it. It just happens for some
people, and others experience it during shamanic journeying experiences, etc. We're
trying to achieve the effect simply with conscious and artistic combination of graphics
and music. Why? Because this is a simple and direct way to experience a more unified
state of consciousness. These stereograms that have come out in the last years are
another very powerful popular tool which help us to learn how to use our minds in a
new, and useful way. I think they're a "trigger" of some kind, to begin unlocking
new states for mankind, as are fractals, especially animated fractals, which let us
visually see the way dimensions can be embedded in ordinary space. But what would
a fractal *sound* like? Well, the closest thing I can imagine, and have experienced,
is this kind of Goa Trance music that we're talking about.
We're working with two radically different MUSICal genres. The first type we work with
is what is now called
Goa Trance, the other kind is usually called
Sacred Space music, a valid distinction
from "New Age" music.
